You may have noticed an increased number of SFPD officers citing for distracted driving. This is part of a series of six high-visibility enforcement events that are intended to not only dissuade drivers from operating phones while driving, but also to inform the public that ending distracted driving is a high priority for the city. It caught the attention of KRON reporter Stanley Roberts, who featured an enforcement event in a recent People Behaving Badly segment. Give it a watch and tell your friends to obey the law by not using their phones while driving!
